A Girl on recent BHU molestation…
Recently, a female student from BHU was allegedly molested and harassed inside her university campus, just outside her hostel in the gloaming light.
Instead of supporting her to make her stand to protest herself, the authorities are questioning her credibility and tagging her with the word of misconduct.
This incident has lead to a serious protest day and night by many students followed by many deliberations and debates. The frustrated and angry students now expects to meet the Vice Chancellor in full media glare and give the answer to the insecureness that the female student face inside her campus.
Banaras Hindu University (BHU) The largest residential university in Asia, established in 1916 by Pandit Madan Mohan Malaviya. The university stands up with its motto -” Vidyaya Mriyamasnute” which means “knowledge imparts immortality”. But this remained until this initiation was not mishandled with the students themselves.
Swami vivekananda once said- ” Education is the manifestation of the perfection alrin a human being”.
A student who should always be remembered for his or her urge to learn and experience new things in life is somewhere fluttering. The so called students are no more interested in learning, rather they are inclining themselves towards the politics and its enliving era.
Women’s safety has always been a burning issue in the society that we live in. We are nowhere safe, mark it please ‘ not even inside the campus of our own, most renowned universities.
